The metrics or KPIs during the live shopping event (in the Control Room) or after the event (in the Event Report) could vary from one another or other sources such as Shopify. This can be due to a number of unforeseen factors since merchants and viewers use various types of devices, internet settings, and more.

Some reasons this discrepancy may be happening are:

  • Some viewers might not have permitted the use of JavaScript or cookies
  • Some viewers use certain type of VPN (virtual private network) to block trackers from tracking their online sessions
  • One viewer may be using multiple tabs, browsers, or devices
  • Failure of Shopify webhooks which allow us to retrieve certain actions related to adds to cart, orders, and revenue generated during a live shopping event
